Indications
Roundworm, whipworm, pinworm, threadworm, hookworm, Strongyloidiasis infection, Taenia solium, Taenia saginata & Opisthorchis viverini present alone or as mixed.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Dosage Adult & children over 2 years of age: 2 tablet of 200 mg ( TOTAL 400MG ) as a single dose with meals.
In cases of Strongyloides infestation: The usual dosage is 400 mg ( 2 TAB OF 200MG) once daily for 3 consecutive days.
In cases of Opisthorchis viverrini: 400 mg twice daily for 3 consecutive days.
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications Pregnancy.
Special Precautions High dose.
Adverse Drug Reactions Epigastric pain, headache, dizziness, pruritus, GI disturbances, diarrhea. Leukopenia alopecia & raised liver enzyme values.
